Jewellery repair technician course
The course covers learning jewellery repair techniques and the use of the machines and utensils necessary for jewellery repair activities: micro-drill, welder, fume extraction. It also includes information about the techniques and processes of jewellery making in order to understand how the various metals behave in the course of repairing operations.
The ultimate aim of the course is to prepare the student to be able to operate on any piece of jewellery: rings, necklaces, brooches and bracelets, and to carry out any necessary size adjustments. The student will also be able to repair clasps in general as well as the clasps of valuable watches and eyewear.
The length of the course is 24 hours, organised in two weekly lessons of 3 hours over a period of four weeks.
